Can I choose to do my own make up and hair?

Short answer, yes. The quality of your images is the number one priority. Making sure that your hair and makeup is on point is a huuuuuge part of ensuring that your images are to die for. Plus, your time in the makeup chair is when we really get to know each other before you strip down. If for some reason you choose to do your own make up and hair you most certainly can.

I would love this experience but I am nervous about my body. Do you Photoshop?

Girl, you are gorgeous, even on the days you don’t feel it!

As far as the level I retouch: I do light skin retouching removing blemishes etc, lighting/color adjustments, skin smoothing. I do not alter your body in any way. Truthfully babe, that does more damage in the long run. I’ve built my career on the foundation of helping you celebrate who you ARE, not what Photoshop or AI can make you. TRUST ME, you will see yourself in a light you never thought that you would and appreciate your body and all that it has done for you. I have been a boudoir photographer for 15 years and my favorite part is when you realize this is you!!

I’m nervous about the investment. Do you offer payment plans?

I’m so glad that you asked! I understand that spending money on yourself can que some guilty feelings, so I offer a payment plan! This plan allows you to pre-pay for up to a year prior to your session (think of it as a virtual piggy bank!), one allows you to use pre-pay/pay in full your ordering session and another option is to pay in full at the viewing! I never want money to hold you back from this experience and I’m absolutely dedicated to helping you make this happen for yourself! To set up a pre payment plan, choose it at check out!

How do I know if the boudoir experience is right for me?

If you are a living breathing woman who has an intense desire to love yourself well, boudoir is right for you!! Sure, it makes a great gift for a significant other but there needs to be another underlying reason for you to truly get the most out of this experience. Your age, weight, race, size does NOT matter!! Let me scream that from the roof tops!! You are gorgeous just as you are!! Sometimes you just need to see yourself through someone else’s lens to be reminded of that!!!

I’m not sure how to shop for outfits or how to be sexy! Help?!

I got you, babe! Once you are officially booked (Yay, happy dance!), I will send you over a questionnaire and then studio prep guide which is designed to help you through the prep portion of your experience. If you are looking to purchase items I suggest Hello LA Girl, Amazon, Fredricks of Hollywood (run on smaller side so size up) or VS has some good options. We have a full client closet with so many items so need to buy any lingerie or outfits if you don’t want to! Everything is sanitized in the wash and liners are used as well.

As far as being sexy… this is something that IS inside of you! You don’t know it yet, but that is where I come in! I will guide you through everything and pose you from you head to your finger tips! As soon as you see yourself on the back of my camera your fears will melt away and you will see how freaking sexy you are!

What items are included in the client closet?

Versatile lingerie pieces. Robes, coats/jackets, some shoes and some jewelry. I can not guarantee any one outfit or item in the client closet so please book an in-person consultation to see what is available a few weeks before your session date. Sizes includes XS to 5x.

Do I have to wear lingerie?

You definitely don’t have to specifically wear lingerie, it depends on your personality! There are a bunch of outfit ideas and we encourage our clients to feel their best. In the past we have seen dresses, button downs, boots, shorts, jeans and the list continues. But, you will need to bring any thing specific like jeans or shorts as those are not in the client closet.

I will be there to help you style your session according to your vision!

I am freaking out inside!

How can I calm my nerves?

Nerves are all part of it! Once you arrive and we get started the nerves will go away! Trust the process but on a deeper level, take a big deep breath! If you have anything that is keeping you nervous, absolutely let’s chat on the phone or come into the studio. Feel free to message me anytime with any questions just give me a day to respond. Don’t freak out if I don't respond right away and if for some reason you don’t hear back with in a day call me or send another message!! Another thing to consider, the nervousness in the beginning of the shoot makes your moment of ‘WOW’ seeing your photos so much better again trust the process!

Are you going to share my images?

The only way your images are shared is if you want them shared or if you book a muse/model call session.

Should I get to my shoot early?

You should always plan on getting to your session about 5 minutes early. You will receive specific arrival instructions in the prep guide. If you do arrive early slide down to Co Co’s for a quick coffee or to Taylor Books.
